Boys. And these 2 actions are subtle solutions to the phrases ‘Disconnected from society’ & ‘Failure to Launch’
In workshops, we have a little something to help with No.2 called:
Igniters
Rules for an Igniter:
- Everyone is involved until the end
- No equipment needed
- Can be done anywhere

Quick Minute Igniters
Arm Twist
Direct The Class To:
- Cross their arms out
- Lock their fingers
- Twist!
Watch this to see it
The class will keep on trying to get it.
this will highly engage them


Clap Sync
Start by directing the class with “when I clap, You clap”
The Goal is to synch you clap to the class, with no delay.
You: Clap*
Class: Clap*
“I reckon we can do it better”
You & Class: Clap Simultaneously*
Tip: challenge the class with clap combos and fake claps
Chest Chest Clap
Start by directing the class to:
- Thump chest x2
- Clap x1
- Repeat
In the same fashion as We Will Rock You
Ensure you do it first to lead.
In no time, the whole class will be chanting ‘Weee willl weee willl…..ROCK YOU!”

Long Igniters

Clap Domino
Direct The Class To:
- Catch the Clap form the person to your right
- Pass it on to the person to your left
- This will cause the clap to be passed around like a domino chain
Make it a challenge to pass the domino on full round as fast as possible
Arm Wars
Direct the class to:
- Stand in 2 lines facing each other
- Pair up with someone of equal height
- Clutch Hands and point the index finger out
- On go, try to tap the other person’s shoulder/knee with the index finger
- The person with the most taps (within 1min) wins!
It’s your choice do run elimination until the final 2, or just leave it there


Knee Duel
Direct the class to:
- Stand in 2 lines facing each other
- Pair up with someone of equal height
- On go, try to tap the other person’s knee
- The person with the most taps (within 1min) wins!
